Working Together with The Superyacht Report
We're very excited to have been working with The Superyacht Report to highlight an area of potential concern within the industry - that of flying 'registration-only' flags when cruising. Going Stateside… MRMC to attend FLIBS 2016
MRMC is set to attend the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) next week. Principal Surveyor Mark Robinson will be joining MRMC U.S. based Surveyor Ben Snead at the show to meet with new and existing clients regarding their compliance and regulatory needs. Top Flag For Tankers – Well Done Marshall Islands!
MRMC were delighted to hear that the Republic of the Marshall Islands now has more tankers under its flag than any other registry, with additional tonnage joining the registry this summer from markets in Greece, Asia and the U.S. Mark Robinson said:"With the RMI-flagged tanker fleet now at 44.6 million gross tons, it's great news for the flag and the wider shipping registry and firmly cements the Marshall Islands as the flag of choice." MRMC & Marshall Islands to take on The Pinmar Golf 2016
MRMC is joining the Marshall Islands Registry’s team at this year's The Pinmar Golf tournament this week. Making up 'The Marshall Islands Masters' team of four, Mark Robinson will be playing alongside Patrick Bachofner (RMI Geneva), Alex von Stein (RMI Yachting Adviser) and Denise Jansen (RMI Netherlands). Only 7 days to Go Until Monaco Yacht Show 2016!
MRMC will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show next week. Mark Robinson, Principal Surveyor will be in Monaco from Tuesday 27th September to attend the 9th Annual Superyacht Finance Forum - where an update on the Marshall Islands Yacht Engaged in Trade (YET) initiate is scheduled. To date MRMC are the only RMI appointed Flag surveyors to have completed a successful YET compliance verification.
