Mark Robinson Maritime Consultants (MRMC) have appointed a U.S. based surveyor to help take care of its U.S. clients. Surveyor Ben Snead has 30 years experience in vessel specification, planning, design, engineering, construction and technical management in shipyards worldwide. Ben has worked on projects in the U.S., Canada, South America, and Northern and Southern Europe on vessels in excess of 100m and brings stateside knowledge and expertise to the MRMC team. MRMC appointed DP of Yarmouth Harbour

MRMC completes first Yacht Engaged in Trade (YET)

Mark Robinson Maritime Consultants (MRMC) have just completed the first YET yacht on the Marshall Islands Registry. The new Yacht Engaged in Trade (YET) initiative was launched by the Republic of the Marshall Islands Registry at Monaco Yacht Show last year. As Appointed Representatives to the RMI, MRMC have just successfully passed the inaugural YET yacht, having conducted the final survey signing off on all associated verification and certification, including a MLC 2006 compliance audit & certification.
